Strange Problem

Ok, so I have started to notice that sometimes when I shift the rpms raise when the clutch pedal is in. Like if I am shifting from 3rd to 4th at 5000 rpms it will go to 5800 or 6000. Usually on goes 800 or 1000 rpms more than when I was shifting i think because i shift quickly. I notice that it only happens under hard acceleration. I thought that maybe the pedal was sticking a bit but it only happens when shifting not if I just let off the pedal. I have noticed it ever since I recirculated the bov. I think it might be the valve it's a greddy type rs and I hate the damn thing.

try venting the bov to atmosphere. Then see if it takes care of said problem. Sure your foots coming off of the gas all of the way????

if its under hard accel, your foot might not be comming up all the way or your cable could be getting semi stuck so its slow but not sticking all the way. what kind of tune do you have in it. if its tuned for the dov to be in the atmosphere than it could be that you have it rec.ed. the air going back in now will cause a lean spot that was tuned, causing the rpms to come up.

Dave Buschur tuned it but it was tuned with the bov venting to the air. I guess I will try to lube the cable and if that does not fix it I might have it retuned. Could it be some type of vacuum leak?
