AEM says 3 weeks but by knowing them for the past 5 years i would say more like a year. they have been releasing the WRX ecu soon for the past 2 years. as far as the e-manage goes, it all depends on your goals with the car. the e-manage shoulod be fine unless you are looking to have total control and making big power. Al on this board is making about 550whp and he uses the e-manage. for more info and help you should get in touch with Adam from Z1. he can get you anything you want and he is a great guy to talk to and he knows his stuff.

The e-manage covers nowhere NEAR as much. The AEM EMS is a standalone unit, not a piggyback. Unless you're VERY comfortable with your ECU's functions though or have an experienced shop handy (and some money for dyno time) I wouldn't recommend going standalone.

As for when it'll be available...God only knows. My past experiences with AEM release dates were not favorable.

Try their electronics support forums if you want to have an idea of what the EMS can do. (....Everything.)
