Is my valvetrain screwed?

I just installed HKS 264/272 cams. Everything seemed to go smoothly. Bled the lifters as well. Started up. Lots of lifter tap from the lifters refilling with oil. However, I got an instant CEL - P0335 and P0340. The codes are for the camshaft position sensor and crank angle sensor respectively. I never drove the car but I did rev it a bit in the garage (3k). The car subsequently would not restart. I found out that the cam gear was not seated on the exhaust cam well and the dowel pin got squashed when the cam gear bolt was torqued down. Needless to say the gear slipped at least 45 degrees. I pulled the exhaust cam and reinstalled the OEM exhaust cam. The car will start but it runs super rough and will not rev much at all. The car is not driveable. Am I looking at a rebuild now????

If everything is in time now do a Leak Down test to see if any of the valves are bent. IF you dont a have leak down tester a compression test should give you the answer you need. But more then likely atleast valves and probably pistions if there gowged.
