all around turbo.

I drive home 275 to see the family. so i need an all around turbo. I like the Factory turbo, but yet i would like to have a little bit more HP. I am aiming for 400HP and to hold steady when i want it..I was thinking of 3076 or a 50 trim. any sugestions?

thank you

I'm making 435whp with the stocker. Might wanna consider maxing it out before upgrading.

i dont want to max the stock out, having to rebuild it or if i get a wild hair and hit 500hp. I have considered the AMS GT35r kit, yet i dont want to have to replace the stock ecu...i know some people are running the stock ecu on the gt35r but what numbers are they getting?

Approx. 460whp on pump and 550whp on race gas. This is what I have witnessed on average. Personally if I were you I would get the FP RED.

FP Green will give good power and driveability! Easy install too! No hassels either if you get stuck like I did and have to visit the smog referee. They made me remove the boost gauge but not the turbo! A lot less work to say the least.(stealth)

This is a loaded question that requires some good research for what you really want, but for a DD, I'd say 35 is too big.

a 30r is a thing of the past....if you want stock like i would look into the Fpwhite which is just a compressor upgrade with spool exactly like stock but well make more power...

After that the FpGreen well be a lil laggier but power well definitly be up

Too many variables. Don't set HP goals. Dynos will crush your ego. If it feels good and is "fast enough for you" then it doesn't matter if it puts down 550hp or 350hp. Add some cams to give you more top end feel, start off with bolt ons before you go and upgrade the turbo and keep stock fuel system, stock intake/exhaust etc...

Im running a 50 trim after running an sc61 (gt35r non bb spec) I love the way the 50 trim responds vs the sc61 and wouldn't give up the top end for the stock spool ever. I have no dyno slips, but in a small city of 58,000, nobody wants to race that kid with the evo! hahaha

Cos the OP said he wants "something similar to stock" but well give him more power.....hes not looking for a 500hp car....he just wants something more powerful yet keeping it stockish...a FpWhite or Green is perfect for what hes looking for
