WORKS ECU Remap
WORKS TB

I must have just missed you up there. And the weather was pretty cool today, what 92'F? Gotta love the cold 75'F Days here in Texas!

Are you going to the Texas Motorspeedway Infield road racing track event Sunday?

What was your A/F on those runs? Boost Pressure?

I haven't been impressed with most of the results of the Evos' with the Works reflash. I guess you can't expect too much from a conservative mail order program.

Could not get the 02 sensor out, Brice is going to make a downpope with a 02 fitting. Boost, i was peaking at 1.45bar.
Brice's guess is that the engine is knocking (because of the xtra boost) and pulling timing.
I am waiting to get track wheels and tires before putting my EVO on the track...

This looks like a second gear pull, was it? Third gear is sort of the standard, and you will see more power. When I went to Alamo they were initially only running 2nd gear, I had to specifically request 3rd gear pulls. Also I would highly recommend a boost controller, removing the pill barely works on a stock car. If the boost over shoots 21PS (which it some times does stock), it immediately drops it down to 17-18PSI. With the exhaust/intake and all, yours probably overshoots and drops fast, do you have a boost gauge?
Here is an example of the difference between 2nd and 3rd gear, mods were MBC, 3"turbo back (RMR), K&N, type-s DV.

I am pretty shure it was 3dr... Andlooking at your run, it really looks like my car was knocking around 4,500rpm.

Any thoughts?

Why is STD horsepower and torque displayed? Usually, people either look at SAE or Uncorrected/Actual. IIRC, STD numbers tend to be a little higher.

Shiv,

What is your guess, why is my peak HP around 4,500rpm?

Peak HP is at about 6750, Do you mean TQ? around here with 90'F being a cool day, SAE is usually higher.

I am pretty sure it was second, compare my 2nd/3rd gear torque curves with yours, which does yours look more like? BTW the blue is 2nd gear.
I already told you, get a boost controller, preferably an EBC, I have the Greddy Profec B spec II, and I love it. The stock system with the pill removed is unstable and has a slower spool response.
BTW these runs were with an MBC, which is still way better than the stock controller, an EBC is even better, (holds boost to redline better than the MBC, and even sharper spool response.

They will be testing a car there this Saturday with the almost the exact same mods as yours, accept an MBC. I will be sure to post the results here, I am sure they will be much better.

Okay, can an EBC works with my reflashed ECU?

I will be very interested to see the results from the car Saturday...
