wow. i did buy an 02 housing from them, it works great

 

You get what you pay for.

 

it's going to be hit or miss with a lot of their products...things like an exhaust system will prob be fine, as there is a large margin allowed for error...a turbo on the other hand, NO margin for error.

 

I agree with T-mac if your getting an exhaust or 02 housing; I would say go for it. Turbos, on the other hand; I would never go cheap on that route.

 

I don't blame that company for being pissed when a company puts out a product with the same name, and very low quality product

 

I have a header from them for my sentra. It was a hotshots header rip off. The quality is great and i have had no issues with it. The only problem is they did lead to the downfall of hotshot.

 

that's the reason i'd have a hard time buying from them, they rip off other ppl's designs, without having to pay for the r&d themselves, and provide an inferior product. It leads to the down fall of a lot of quality companies.

 

I totally agree. At the time i had no idea. I will never buy anything from them again. Unfortunately I was new to the scene and naive.

 

SSAUTO is a joke but at the same time, anyone who pays pennies on a dollar for parts that have been blatantly copied doesn't really have a right to complain when it's half assed and the customer support isn't there.

 

Gotta love the idiots who knocked off the EVO III 16g and duped alot of DSMers into thinking they were buying a real one crying that SSautocrap ripped them off. Karma's a *****, eh?

 

i have one too, and also have had 3 hotshots and all three broke at the welds..

the ssauto was a better product, and cheaper... but buying moving parts lol shame on you...

yeah anything that moves or that has slim tolerances should be left to the proven quality products.
