Ams front intercooler or a custom setup from ETS are the only ones known to fit correctly.

The AMS is the only one that will fit to my knowledge but I'm sure you could modify the brace to allow the others to fit.

I'd stick with the better FMIC if you had to choose one or the other.

yeah im going with the big intercooler instead
i was just wondering if its possible because with a 4 inch i wont be running a front crash beam and i was thinking it would be better to have the power brace rather then nothing
would the power brace fit with a 3.5 inch? anyone know?

I have the AMS intercooler with the front powerbrace installed on mine. I believe the AMS core is 3 3/4 inch thickness.

We can build a custom intercooler to fit with the cusco power brace. There are a couple pictures floating around. I can't find it with the current search function though.

I will try to find it and update you. The price is the same as our standard intercooler, just make note of it if you order online or over the phone.

Thanks,

Michael

Both the HKS Type R and Type S intercoolers will fit with the Cusco front brace. Guy who owns the shop that works on my car has an HKS Type R + Cusco brace setup on his car...lucky bastard

what is the price difference on these "custom" intercoolers?
and what specs change to allow it to fit?

Same Great Price! The difference is we use a 20" wide core instead of a 24" wide core. To my understanding it's the biggest core available for the Cusco front brace. If we had a brace here, we could prob. make a 22" wide and taper the top really tight to the brace.

3.0" - $499.00
3.5" - $599.00
4.0" - $699.00

front brace is too much for show, spend your money on something else, you won't see the different before nor after
