4G63 Turbo List (DSM Guys)

I was curious if anyone knew the breakdown of turbos used on the 4G63 engines over the years such as:

1st Gen Eclipse:
2nd Gen Eclipse:
Evolution 8:

and so on... be awesome if they were also listed such as 15G (TD04).

Thanks,
Dan

It could be a 9b turbo off of a Stealth/3000GT.

TD04-13g/TD05-13g... it's still a 13g, no matter what exhaust housing it's in.

I think a 13g would fall through a TD05H turbine housing

I could have made a long post short....unfortuantly I'm semi retarded in turbo talk/specs. I was going to use this information to do more research on the turbos but some of you may know off hand what I'm trying to find out. That would be a replacement for the TD04 I'm currently running on my project car. Wanted to find something slightly larger/nicer that the TD04 and if possibly have the same manifold and exhaust flanges so nothing really needs to change. Might not beable to do this but it would be an inbetween option for now instead of a GT25?? or GT26??RS.

Unfortunately, OEMs have the luxury of making castings specific to the cars they're going on. A "TD04" from a DSM is nothing like the flange that a WRX or 3000GT uses. Posting a pic of what you've got would help alot. Your best bet in my opinion might be to send your existing turbo in to somewhere like FP or Blouch. They can rebuild it and upgrade the compressor wheel to something larger that's still in the TD04 family, like a 15 or 18T. They used to offer this for the WRX but I don't think there was enough interest.

I understand exactly what you mean....seems as if most OEM turbos have odd shaped exhaust housings to fit there needs. I'm pretty sure there are some that aren't though; must be non mitsubishi turbos.

WRX's are a Tdo4L turbo as well as SRT-4's and Volvo's and some Saab's. 1st gen DSM's are a 14b style round entry exhaust flange and evoIII 16g's are virtually the same, 2nd gen DSM's are a t-25 style flange.
