I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my Meth kit in favor of e85. I live in San Diego and don't have to worry about the e70 thing because of our mild climate. Since there is an e85 station near work I am really thinking of switching. My only concern in going to e85 is losing power.

I always wanted to run meth on my car to make good power, but always knew the risks of the system failing, so I was glad when E85 came out and haven't looked back.

Three runs...

91 (run 3) = 415whp / 318wtq

91 + meth (run 2) = 493whp / 374wtq

E85 (run 1) = 557whp / 441wtq

I'll take the E85.

probably tuned to each setting though jeff. wether safe or aggressive or whatever. tuned at each level to maximize the settings (boost, timing, afr) i love E85 ill never go back to anything else. no race gas no meth no pump. wish we could get some more stations but ill keep hoping.

I think I will just stick with pump/alky for now simply because tuning for 3 fuels will be very pricey and I only have one gas station around me that carries E85 and a lot of the times the pump is out of order. I definately want to run E85 eventually but for now I should be able to crack 500whp on Buschur's dyno with my FP Red and supporting mods on C16 and close to 500whp with pump/alky. Very good thread though so keep it going.

I'm pretty much fully built other than my head being ported and I run an AEM. With an FP Green my car made 440whp and 453trq on Buschur's dyno and went 10.9 at 130mph. Now I have added a ported exhaust manifold, FP Red, Forge actuator, and a Buschur coil on plug ignition so we shall see .

Why wouldn't you maximize the fuel's potential? Comparing power on different fuels is always going to be apple to oranges.
