it depends on your mods, fuel. if you are still on stock fuel pump then get a walbro. But all in all it depends on your tuner. search for a good tuner on here that is local so that he could work with you easily.

ok, so lets say it is running 23-24 psi... is that considered safe if all those mods are correct, and the car is properly tuned ?

I used to have my Evo 8 MR tuned with Alcohol and I ran 30-31psi max but during extensive custom dyno tuning with Dynoflash we figure out that after 28psi we were actually making a coupld of more HP but loosing torque.
I believe that TTP ran at 34psi max on his Evo 8 MR with a million bolt ons.

Question : w/ mods in sig.

Say I have 1000cc walboro LICP and a e85 tune for stock boost. What's the most I can up the boost from that stock tune with a hallman on ethanol without pulling timing and making the ecu re adjust? Basically I want to up the boost a few psi on ethanol without paying for a tune right now besides my 19psi e85 current tune.

Just don't.....

If you turn up you may not be tuned for that area and bad things could happen. It is better to simply be safe and get a tune or purchase the necessary equipment and learn to do it your self.

Lets let this thread go back to the grave. Its not halloween yet.

Lots of inexperienced info in here....just dont think you can get a bc and up the boost and be good, you need to be tuned for the boost first. and as far as the highest boost I've ever heard of was is the guy that is running the test on a cut crank to see if it has any bad effects (like when everyone says dont do it will break) I think hes running like 41-42 psi and my car has seen 41-42 psi also. You just need the supporting mods for it and a good tune obviously
