Car won't accelerate

OK, so I take a drive and at a stopsign, I look both ways, shift into first, second, and floor it. All of a sudden it felt like my uicp fell off, almost like fuel cut type symptoms. Well I check and everything is on tight. My CEL came on, my car didn't like any gear I put it in. When I drove it, it felt like it would grab for a little then it felt like it was in neutral, like it wasn't grabbing. I get home, reset the ECU, CEL goes off, but my engine now has HUGE vibrations and the rpms vary from 1000 down to around 400 and almost stalls out but doesn't. Now I'm not sure about this because I was checking everything while driving slow, but it looked like the speedometer stayed at 20 mph. To get up a hill, I had to downshift, upshift back and forth until that gear would wear out and then change gears to get a little further. Anyone had this happen and any suggestions? I know last week, I was in third gear, punched it light, and the car felt like it hit neutral again.
Great time for this to happen to me. I NEVER get into it and the one time I do, this happens. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Everything looks fine, there are no liquids dropping, but it was also backfiring like a ****. I do have meth before I punched it, the A/F ratio hit 11.2, which is what my car is tuned for. There are no leaks at the nozzle or any indications that it failed.
Just for GP, mods include TBE, Walbro 255, s1 cams, arp head studs, labonte meth kit, ets fmic and v2 licp. Thanks in advance

I assume you checked all your pipes? not just the upper one?

It sounds very much like a blown off ICP.... do you have a stock upper pipe?? I blew a hole in one of stock IC pipes once and it was very hard to see.... check all that for sure...

does it rev freely?
when you are driving, do the RPMs increase but speed remains or does it stumble and stutter instead of reving?

Man I feel a WHOLE lot better now. I rechecked the uicp, it's fine. I grab my flashlight and notice my licp just daggling there. Guess I'll be taking off work tomorrow and remount it. Thanks for the suggestions. It would have just been my luck the clutch completely died on me right before Christmas.

man I assumed you checked that too! I thought the licp was the one more prone to blowing off...

Take off a whole day of work to reinstall a lower IC pipe? Damn Glad to hear it was nothing huge. I remember the first time I blew a couple on my Mirage. ALWAYS the TB coupler. First time it scared the crap out of me. I though the car blew up, hahaha.

Well it's more of an excuse to take the day off. Only checked the uicp because I couldn't see the licp thanks to my undercarriage cover. I give it an hour to unscrew those damn plastic screws, 5 minutes to tighten the pipe and I'll be good to go.
