Is the upper radiator hose out of the way of the header and if so how much?

Just received my Mishimoto Evo6 radiator & a few other things yesterday.
Could not wait to fix up the radiator today, together with a set of Evo 6 blue silicone hose.
Did some measurements to reconfirm fitment & sure enough the radiator fitted right into the Evo9's stock mountings.
The Evo6 silicone hoses fitted in as well. The top hose was a little too long so I cut off about 1.5 inches from the thermostat housing end.
Be sure to get the Evo6 set of hoses as the Evo4 & 5 bottom hose's bend is a little too short.

I reckon this radiator setup will solve all the issues about the tubular manifold being too near the top hose.

Check out the pic...

the mishimoto evo6 radiator is the smart way of doing it. Quality is just as good as any other aluminum radiator and it moves the radiator house to the driver side and IRS half the price of the competition

If you look at evom's test on the mishimoto and ours, it was proven ours cools better,

now does that mean the mishimoto is a bad piece, not at all, they make LOTS of rads, and are nice people..

we only build rads for evos, subarus, and now the GTR... thats it.

I guess Ill chime in and say I run the CBRD slim rad and my needle never even rises nevermind it sits at about 1/3 of the way up. Cools great and looks great plus theres so much more noticeable space under the hood.
