I have and aem intake, it was on the car when i bought it. And i notice there was a vent where a hose should be on the bypass valve on the intake? i looked up the installation instuctions and found that their is suppose to be a hose and it connects to another one. But i looked and and dont see any hoses. i think it was never hooked up but i dont know where the other end went? maybe its hooked up to somethin else? The car runs great! i just wanted and opinion on what to do with that vent cause i dont want it open and suckin up dirt.

 

It's most likely the vent that goes to your valve cover. If the car has a catch can or the valve cover has a breather, just get a plug for the hole on the intake. problem solved. If this isn't the same vent I'm talking about, and the car runs great, plug it anyways. Problem solved
