cannot get my clutch out
A few weeks ago I was doing my evo clutch, and the wedge collar ended up mangled up by the flathead and wouldn't release for anything. I gave up and ended up unbolting the pressure plate through the fork opening. Wasn't fun...
Although I was able to get it to release without popping the pp off
yea out of like 5 clutches, Ive only been able to get 2 out no problems, and they were both low mile after market clutches. The best way I have found which is no problem is get a swivel 12mm socket and take the six pressure plate bolts off. This will realese the tranny. After this it is easier to either pop the tob or in my case I broke the little splines on the pressure plate to get access to the clutch fork bolt (10mm) then i just followed evo motos direction for removing the fork and the whole assembly falls out.
