yeah thats not right it should spike to 18 and decrease towards redline on a stock ride. it might be a boost leak or a vaccum leak. make sure your lines are correct. might consider a manual boost controller in the near future. 20psi all day

Try this:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...er-5-02-a.html

And make sure your vac lines are zip tied down REALLY good and there are no holes / cuts in them.

More than likely it is a leak somewhere.

Check it out and let us know what you find out.

From my experience, usually big boost leak issues involve the couplers and most couplers would blow right off under boost and that would be an obvious problem cuz your car would act horrible, but maybe ur hose clamps is holding the coupler on for dear life lol. Check em all and I would check the throttle body first, then work around the couplers til you reach the turbo. Keep me posted.

Sounds like something's screwed with the lines going to you mbc...12psi is stock wastegate pressure. A boost leak tends to be a bit more noticeable as it causes some other weird issues too like stumbling idle, much richer afr's than normal, and like said above usually the coupler blows right off unless there's a slit in it.

Vacuum lines at the manifold leaking would cause a higher than normal idle due to the air leak.

If you just installed the boost controller, you probably have it hooked up wrong. Otherwise, as already mentioned, boost leak.
