I get this from time to time. Honestly, I ignore it and erase the code with my scan tool.

HOwever, I've read that this could mean that the primary O2 sensor (the one in your O2 housing) might be going bad. So you might want to look into that.

Anyone else???

p0171 in "system too Lean" (bank 1). i see that on cars that dont have properly scaled injectors. check your LTFT and i bet they are very high. the highest it will show is only +12.5ish if it is thats why your throwing the p0171 code....

i erased the code and its didnt come back on yet.. i wonder if thats caused by the rough running on idle cause these past few days my car was running lil rough at idle like misfiring only at idle tho.

if your starting to see stumbling problems then that is likly due to your LTFT (long term fuel trim) low being maxxed out (+12.5) and it takes a little while for your o2 sensor to get heated up when first started so that stumble is the time it takes for the 02 sensor to get warmed up and your STFT (short term fuel trim) to start adding the extra fuel the car needs to stay at the target afr of 14.7. you will prolly also notice that your WB will be vvery lean or even maxxed out to the lean side during warm up. i just had to fix this exact same problem on my buddy lee's (SN: will05) car today
