i just purchased a maf translator from a local and i have a quick question.. when i install the maf translator into the gm maf.. do i need to run the tach wire to the ecu regardless if i tune with ecu flash and not the translator?

it would be super nice to figure this out within the next 10 min so i can inatall this thing ;] thanks guys!
