My opinion on the Busher. An evo here in the area has the exhaust set up. I have the Thermal catback (awaiting the downpipe still). Bushur sounded alright, kind of groggy. Thermal sounds very clean and deep with a nice zip. After hearing both side by side, Thermal sweeps competition. Anyways not hating, just some info. Vtech1 can probably help you order one if you like.
Buschur is the lightest turbo back exhaust offered for the Evo, period. It has an aggressive sound which is very distinct and sounds great. I haven't heard Thermal, but I'm pretty sure sound doesn't decide who "sweeps the competition". I like the sound of my Buschur especially at WOT where it gets NOTICED.

Affordable, lightweight, sounds great and performs! Unless you're into bling bling piping, this is the best exhaust on the market given ALL the variables.

I have heard of some people having some problems with the Buschur exhaust coming apart due to the slip sleeve connections. Has anyone here had that problem?

I don't own any Buschur exhaust components, but I would put anything from Buschur on my car without hesitation. I have not heard anything about the crimp sleeve connections being a problem. but they had a very isolated weld issue on one of the hangers that they dealt with promptly and proactively (contacting those affected and paying shipping or even paying for someone else to service locally from what I understand).

That is not a problem if you have it installed correctly.

I installed my Exhaust last week.

OMG its so loud, not a bad loud. But one to get used to. I had full 3'' on my eclipse, and it wasnt this loud.

BTW, I had great service with Buschur!!!!

Im really curious to hear the difference with the straight pipe compared to the High flow cat.

I might buy the high flow cat for emmissions and what not.

As far as the clamps go, if you tighten them right, and put them on the correct way, there is now way there commin off!

Just have to doubble check the way the clamp is. The pipes when they come together, 0o-o0, hmm bad example, but u need to put the clamp so the big end 0 goes over where the two pipes conncet, and the small end o on were the pipe do not overlap, not sure if im makin sense. Kinda hard with no pics.

Anyway Im VERY happy with the power gains, along with the SAFC and intake. Car is WAY stronger than stock. Just have to adjust to the sound level of exhaust.

I installed mine las t night with the high flow cat. It is louder than stock, because of the strait througfh design, but it sounds good. My problem is that it hits. I have tried moving it artound and changing the angles but it keeps on moving back. I will just have to keep on trying I guess. I have been using a lift so its not me. I can see the problem!!

I have the Buschur 3" turbo back with the racing cat on my Evo. A friend has the same with the cat delete pipe. Mine sounds good but is a bit too loud. With no cat the system sounds like "a tractor". It has been described that way by several people. If you want to rattle windows and attract attention, get the Buschur with the cat delete pipe. On the plus side, my exhaust fits fine, never rattles, is very light, the clamps work great, and the system makes big time power. I'm sure it will dyno with the best of them.

I can understand.. When I first got mine installed I thought it was too loud, but you get used to it, and its actually quite comfortable sounding when the windows are up.. and you can't imagine the people's comments about "Wicked" "Sick" "tough" etc.. I'm running a Catalytic converter which definitely quiets it down a bit.. Without the Cat I would have to say I'd probably consider it way too loud for my tastes.. But with performance comes sacrifice and this was one I was happy to make..
