It says that it is the actual item pictured and that has me concerned. What is shown has the smaller aftermarket hub, not the larger aftermarket hub or the OE style hub. Of course the photo may be wrong too...

If you gotta pull the clutch...upgrade it. Even if it is just a mild street clutch.

Why would you honestly want to go through all that work to pull the transmission just to replace it with another stock-type clutch? Unless of course you want to have to go through the same hassle and more money another few thousand miles down the road. Upgrade the clutch disc and pressure plate since you're going to have everything apart.

*Sigh* I can see already that you want to do as much as you can as cheaply as possible. News flash, you have an Evo...nothing on them is ever cheap, nor will it ever be. You can buy a stock clutch or your $35 disc and depending on how much you thrash the car (and since you're still under 20 I'm going to say it's quite a bit) you're going to find yourself going through this same thing all over again in maybe 2 months time. That means more money payed out to have the clutch changed, more money for another disc, and extra down time. Paying extra now for a good long lasting clutch is well worth the price to have to avoid the same situation a few months down the road. Here's a simple rule to apply to your car...Do it once, do it right, or don't do it at all and trade it in on a Honda.

Oh that's right...I forgot. A 'Benz in Europe is like a Ford in America.

Either way you're going to end up doing the clutch again, so I guess it's really up to you which one you want to go with. Your mechanic is going to hate you.
