Walbro Fuel Pump Question

Hey guys gonna get tuned in about 1 month. Can I install the Walbro fuel pump at home and drive it to the tuner safely? Will I risk damaging any engine components? I just don't want to have to pay the tuner to install it, they charge $45!! Thanks guys

I installed mine and drove my car for about a month with no problems. From what Ive read it will just cause the car to run rich. Hope that helps

Yes.

Will I risk damaging any engine components?
No, unless somehow you utterly fail on the installation, which is cake as far as basic mechanics go.

u will be fine, if anything you run richer than normal, which is ok.

best bet is to rotate the entire assembly counterclockwise and then back all the time while getting the metal ring up and over.

no really sure why mitsu couldn't make the left and top points 1cm bigger on the chassis to make it easier...
