Twin Turbo Evo?
Anybody know of anyone trying to do a twin-turbo evo? What would that entail?
I know that's really kinda silly and all, but I was thinking about autox setups and dreaming about the FP Red setup, and realized that almost no turbo is going to spool before say 3 grand... sounds like you could really gain some ground going to tiny tt setup. Imagine pulling out of a corner at almost full power by 3.5-4k.... awesome for a short course.
Just food for thought.

You will get a whole bunch of EVO 'experts' claiming that your question is totally ridicules. "Two turbos is one too many." "Look at the RX-7." "Look at the Supra."
My response to the naysayers would be, "Look at the Bimmer 135/335." Why is no one laughing at BMW?
That said, I think a better set-up idea -- with far less plumbing required -- would be a compound turbo. Basically that is a small turbo blowing into a large turbo. The best of both worlds -- very quick spool and very big HP.

A 2.3 or 2.4 would probably work a bit better though.

They had a guy put a supercharger on a Evo a while back and made some desent power. I think it was like mid 600's. The car has passed into a few hands though and I'm sure has had more owners since then.
