I think the .63 is pretty nice with the HTA35R good spool/response for a mid frame turbo. I went to the .82 with my HTA86 and it's a bit "laggier" maybe 300-400rpm.
my previous best DLL was 617awhp on 93 octane and now it's 633awhp at the same 32psi, not a big jump for the lag. I suspect the .63 is fine up to that HP. The .82 is likely going to start stretching it's legs at 40psi though.

yep, I wouldn't get in a big hurry to change it. I had a .82 sitting in my garage while I was on the .63 setup. When I ordered the HTA86 I just specified to leave the turbine housing off since I already had one.
Looking at logs with my FS635/.63 housing, revving to 9k on my 2L. I was achieving my target boost of 40psi in 3rd gear @ 5700rpm and would taper down to 35psi by 8800rpm. In 4th it would taper down to 36psi by 8800.
I have to agree with Mellon that the larger .82 will show it's worth in the 40psi range. Logs with my pump gas map @ 30psi show it holds 30psi all the way to redline. I'm hoping with the .82 I won't have a 5psi drop in boost on my race map in the top end. A larger set of cams is next to help the top end...FP5R's anyone?
