FP3065 - Evolution 3

Hey guys I am going to be going with this turbo in about 2 months. I already have the FP race manifold and tial 44mm wastegate for it.
I was just wondering if you guys think it would bolt up just like this? I think this is a 2G eclipse which has the same engine as the Evo 3.

Everything should be the same. I can't think of any major difference that would cause a problem in fitting it.

The Evo has less space between the turbo and the radiator, but based on how FP has the wastegate angled to the side, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, the engine bay is narower so you wil have to use a shorter filter if you are using the FP intake.

Yeh I know for sure between the turbo and radiator will clear, but it's just where the top of the wastegate sits what I wasn't sure about.

I have evo 1. That turbo doesnt fit if you want to retain a radiator fan. I even use slimmer evo 8 fan. still wouldnt fit. I have a nice 3071 turbo kit with FP manifold 40mm tial , ceramic coated. just removed from evo1 so I could use evo 10 TS turbo setup on my car. It was a lot of work to make 3071 fit. it uses smaller E cover. getting S cover in there is gonna be tough. dont think it can be done with fan. I even moved radiotor off center to give more clearance between fan and turbo. In short these cars sucky for engine compartment space.

I wasn't planning on keeping the big fan, I have a 14" slim fan.
Do you think I will be able to clear?
