Has anyone ever used the Tomei Solid Pivot's? If so are they worth it, have you seen any performance from them?

I use them in my car, with 280 solid cams, no problems at, but i can't say if they have real advantages in terms of power compared to normal hydraulic lifters, i did not make any test... Only problem, here in Europe, but perhaps in USA they are easier to find, for adjusting them Tomei uses Nissan RB 26 shims, really expensive, about 10 dollars each, i solved the problem building myself the shims....

 

a friend uses them to rev his engine to 11,000 in a 6 bolt dsm motor in a 2g. works great sounds AMAZING.
