i need the length of your...

dipstick . im posting for my friend JP who just bought a evo 8 w/ a 2.3 stroker and a 35R on it for 14k btw (sounds like a time bomb if you ask me ) and when he bought it there wasnt a dipstick on it . so right now we are putting a quick fix universal one in for today b/c its spitting out alot of oil until he gets one in a couple days. my question is we need to cut this one to fit so i need to know the size of it. thanks!

^It probably blew out like I have heard is an issue with some beasts of that caliber. Tell him to also buy a retaining spring which keeps it stuck in there. I pretty sure Buschur sells them on their website.

haha no the min mark is a notch in the dipstick. About another .5in down is the bottom of the dipstick however it twists so that may be a little complicated. I can go snap a photo of it if you really need me to

No problem. It helped me out too because it gave me a reason to check my oil level and i needed to add a little bit haha so we both benefited. Im a little bummed though because this was the first time my car has consumed oil...oh well seems to be a common thing but i just thought I had a special evo
