headstuds / cam install questions?
Just got a few questions if someone can answer
#1. when installing the headstuds themselves, before i put the washers/nuts on, what should I torque the stud itself to into the block. is theyre a torque spec for them, i have the allen socket i need for that so i was wondering if theyre was a specific torque to put those in.
#2. Do you reccomend putting any locktite or anything on the studs threads before i tighten them into the block?? or should i use that assembly lube that came with the studs only.
#3. after i put the cams on and i am tightening down the caps that hold the cams to the head, do you know what torque i should torque those bolts to???
im looking at the evo torque spec sticky post and just gettin confused
if someone can clarify this for me that would be sweet

sticky in the motor / turbo / drivetrain section
Bearing cap bolt 20 ± 1 (15 ± 1 ft-lb)
Cylinder head bolt 78 ± 2 (58 ± 1 ft-lb) → back off → 20 ± 2 (15 ± 1 ft-lb) → 90° + 90°

ARP recommends putting the head studs in "finger tight" but it's pretty common to torque tighten the studs into the block LIGHTLY (under 10lbs). I just put them in hand tight with an allen wrench w/ ARP moly lube.

you guys do know that ur not supposed to put the molly lube on the stud where it threads into the block right? thats only so you get accurate Tq readings and should be used on the top of the stud and nut only.
