Can someone help?
I bout an 03 evo 8 about 6 month ago and it started actin up. when i started building boost my intake would blow off the throttle body. so i put a heavy clamp on there and now it will just backfire at high rpms and real bad from a roll. the snap on scanner said waste gate at fault. does that mean i need an actuator to adjust it or is it bad and need to be replaced. i wanted to assk first before i just went and bought something. thanks

If you were having trouble with pipes blowing off the first thing you should try is a boost leak test they are the ultimate evil on turbo cars ,,, also post more info on what mods and such you have as everything can be a factor.
