Just purchased a O2 housing off ebay for my VII. The quality is good, but the only thing that didnt seem right was the wastegate exhaust side connecting to the turbo side. There is only a port the size of my finger connecting the wastegate side to the exhaust side. Will this cause boost spike? There is not very much metal to port.

 

I'm trying to picture what you are talking about. Some 02 housings will cause boost spike.

 

You have a link of which one you bought? There are couple of them on ebay.

If I'm correctly picturing what you are saying, that 02 housing will definitely cause boost creep. Post a picture just be certain.
