What exhaust manifold to choose?

I'm running a ported Buschur one right now and am pretty happy with it. However I will be upgrading to a Red soon and was thinking of replacing the header at the same time. Was thinking the Invidia or a different tubular. What'd you all think? Thanks!

Just don't get a Megan Racing tubular mani. Mine cracked in like a dozen places around the welds, so I went back to a stock ported/coated.

Stick with what you have ... If you really need another 5hp .. get a Full-Race, Shearer, Turbo Trix, etc... those are all very good quality, but high priced.. also if you want to pick up power.. you can get a EPM 02 dump housing :P

The ported stocker is more than adequate for what you probably want. If your one of those people who just absolutely wants every horsepower available, AWDMike recently tested the brand new Shearer header and it made an average of 21 whp across most of the rpm range. Based on his test, I ordered one for our stock appearing turbo setups.

The EPM 02 is on my list too. Does anyone have experience with the Invidia?

Just stick with what you have. But if you are dead set on going to something different like 9sec9 said shearer makes a nice manifold and EPM is working on a street version of their nasty habanero .

sounds like your hell bent on getting the invidia. good luck with that. want something that works you already own it. im running it on my red, and if u want more proof (other than the 100's of people running it with great results) look at most wanted and his red on his buschur ported stock mani. listen to 9sec9 who has probably ran everything known to man on his "world record car" do i really need to keep going...keep your ported stock man, youll thank everyone in the long run.

David Buschur did some tests and found only the Full Race Manifold was better than the ported stocker. I'd keep what you have unless you're interested in dropping over a thousand dollars on a Full Race. BTW I was actually able to pick up a Full Race Prostock header for $500, I'm putting it on hopefully tonight, I'll let you know what sort of gains I get.

I think I will just stick with the ported stocker and put my money elsewhere. Those tubulars just look so cool, but looks aren't really everything huh?

Go with ported stocker...Full-race and Turbo Trix make nice ones if you want a tubular

I read Mike's thread on the Shearer, that's impressive! $1200 later though...
