Inconel is way too heavy IMO but it'll last forever

no seriously.. i have no idea what turbo uses a TI or inconel wheel

You guys are all knuckleheads, he is asking about turbo compressor wheels, not wheel wheels.

See how its in engine/turbo and not the suspension forum.

if you dont have titanium wheel on your turbine side, then you have inconel version..

measured weight : 183.2g vs inconel version is around 250g

(included compressor wheel etc etc.. )

it's not titanium, it's titanium aluminide aka TiAL
titanium is used on some compressor wheels

the garrett line uses inconel turbine wheels for anything above a GT25 series

borg warner....but lets set everything correct so we don't all go off wanting titanium compressor wheels....cast and billet aluminum wheels are actually better than titanium for our applications....titanuim is used for heavy duty apps that really do not apply to what we would use them for

noup..
mitsubishi use, garrett use etc etc.. cannot be that expencive..

and Master power turbochargers from Brasil, those use also inconel..
mitsubishi evo 4-9 td05hr wheel.. look this :
