Kelford manufactuers the Cosworths and their specs are nearly identical. If I recall correctly, the Cosworths are actually slightly more aggressive with a longer duration @ 1mm (they have the same duration at .1mm). I spent quite a bit of time studying the available IX MIVEC cams and ended up with the FP4R's. My friend has the Kelford 272's on his IX and his idle/drivability is noticeably better than mine.

Kelford does not make Cosworths cams. They are made in Cosworths factory in Northampton England.

No problem man, some people seam to be spreading this rumor. I guess trying to dump Kelford cams on people. They are both very good cams tho.

I recently got the kelford 272s installed (stock springs retainers) havent tuned it yet, probably this weekend. My other friend has the basically the same set-up as me apart from the 02 dump( I have a megan 02) and M2s. And he made 451/435 i believe. I will post up results once I get tuned.

If you are planning to go bigger turbo in the future, S2's are the best

I'd go with whatever's cheaper and/or more readily available. Both are great cams!
