clutch question

clutch question

wondering if anyone has replaced a clutch in a evo 9? and what is the trick on seperateing the tcase from the trans?

Thousands of people have.

Only trick to it is to remove the shaft that connects the trans to tcase will a puller of some sort.

You need to use a slide hammer. It will come right out.

follow the evomoto how to... if this is ur first time u should have a couple ppl help out.. it took me 3 days my first time haha

I used Evomoto write up, and rented the slide hammer from local autoparts store. They charged me $25 dollars, but ended up refunding my money, as I only needed it for abut 5 minutes. The only thing that gave me problems was releasing the throw out bearing.
