Guys take a look at this O2 housing i found (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MITSU...Q5fAccessories) and compare that to the Titek V2 housing (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...check-out.html). The O2 housing found on ebay seems to be identical to that of the Titek housing with the exception of the Titek decal. Does anyone have first hand experience with these two turbo outlets? Can anyone confirm the similarities? Thanks in advance.

That ebay O2 housing does look like better quality compared to the old eBay O2 housings. Judging from the pictures they look identical. I can only speak for the TiTek O2 housing having great craftsmanship as I've owned one in the past. Although I have to say, that eBay one looks identical.

 

I'm almost 100% sure the same factory that produces the Titek is making that ebay o2.

I wouldn't be surprised if Titek actually ran that ebay store under a different name.

No, ebay's o2 housing is totally different than the Titek ver1 and ver2.

They all look almost identical from the outside.

Its the inside that you need to pay close attention to.

The Titek ver2 is casted piece, while the eBay version is not.

I have gone through many sets of these o2 housing, I honestly can say the Titek version is a much higher quality piece.

Titek Innovation is a subsidiary of SP Engineering in SoCal if I am not mistaken.

Look at those two models posted above. I'm not sure if you saw the links, those are the exact same, from piping to cast flanges to the welds they are the same.

That eBay shop also sells all sorts of GT Spec products like their manifolds.

 

i sure hope there is a difference because I paid 2 bills for the titek ver2. I'm gonna feel like an *** if the only difference between the two is the titek emblem.

 

I have the ebay one and it looks great. I am sure it is the same as the Titek V2 and GTSpec one. This is the new wax design. I have not installed it yet but it looks identical to hte picture. I am waiting to get a Evo 9 turbo to install it. The weldings are perfect. Remember that the Titek one is most likely make at the same factory than the ebay ones.

 

they are the same and will do the same thing. So on this one you get what you pay for does not really work. Go for the Ebay one. Save yourself a few bucks.

Titek and megan and ebay are the EXACT SAME THING.
Arguments like "you get what you pay for" are at best laughable in this and many other cases. It's called ignorance by vendor brain washing.
