Im thinking of changing my setup

Ok for starters, im running a 2.3L divided t4 top mounted manifold mated with a GT4088R turbo, Im only running 17 psi right now making 428awhp and 368tq. Im still on the stock ignition and stock tranny and tcase. I really want to try out the fp red. I know I can make alot more power with the 40r but I really like lowend power and fast spool, I really cant complain with the spool up now since I do have the twinscroll 40r on my 2.3L. I was just wanting some advice. The car is mainly going to be used for 1/4 mile times, but I would also like to try out some autocross events this year. Let me know what you think.

I would go to a HTA3586 or something.

People are have a lot of success running that turbo t4 TS. With claims of 20psi by 4000rpm.

Just a thought...

Its probably going to be a little big for Autocross.... but should be perfect for the other stuff....

I would do the Red with like a full race maniold, sheaer, etc. With an EPM o2 dump with the aquamist meth kit. This set-up is starting to get more and more popular and now that your on a 2.3 this turbo will scream because you would be able to run it at its prime 30+ psi. And keep in mind that the Red is comparible to like a 32-33r turbo. So this isnt a small girl. I garentee you will love the set-up if not go to the infamous 35r on a 2.3, just the reds going to give you a lil faster spool and a lil more low end for what your looking for.

i hope this helps you some.

if you can get one that fits with your kit, maybe a hta3586 would fit the bill!

Otherwise, maybe a red, if you care to wait for it. BBK would prolly be a massive stump-puller on that setup

hotside on the red is a bit to small for the stroker, it will taper a lot, it would be better to move to t3 turbo if your looking for better spool
