A friend of mine was having some issues on his car running lean and it was caused by the car starving for fuel bc the hose that connects each side of the tank was cloged...Is there any way to clean this??

im going to bump this back up because i think i might possibly be having the same problem .
the area that the fuel pump sits only has about 3/4 of an inch of fuel in the bottom. should this be full or atleast have a little bit more fuel than that ?
