HELP! Blitz DTT install question!

I started my Blitz DTT install today... but already face some
confusions that I need help asap...

How do I remove the stock vacuum hose at this location?

???

Do I simply pull it off??
Also the T-adapter and hose provided by Blitz is only 1/3 the
size of the stock ones... would that be ok???

Thanks

I couldn't wait for replies... so I simply cut the stock wire...
shove the "T" provided by Blitz and connect the provided
hose to the DTT main unit inside the car...

Thankfully, everything seems to work just fine... (even the
parking brake safety... )

Right now.. my boost gauge usually shows -0.5 for idling... and
will hit 1.27 most of time during accelerating.... I got a peak boost
of 1.39 but I had to try really hard to register such high boost...

Does that sound right?

jt_kgy, don't need to worry about the size of the tee... i was a bit worried at first when i saw the tee that came with the turbo timer, but seems like it's working fine even with a very small tee and hose.

FYI, I just cut the factory hose that goes to the fuel regulator(the same hose in your pic) and put in the tee that came with the turbo timer, zip tied the ends, and used the tinny hose that came with the turbo timer to connect back to the brain

I am seeing around what you are seeing on idle around -.55 to -.6, if i let off the gas on the freeway, it will pull a little more vacuum. (-.75).

Damn... 1.39 as ur peak boost? I only got up to 1.31 as my peak. I can get up to 1.27-.29 most of the time. But kinda hard to even get to 1.31. Do u have any mods??? or is your stock?

No mods... well, except grounding wires...

I could get 1.27-28 usually... getting 1.32-39 is possible but
very very rarely... (I did at high gear and full throttle)...

Is this normal??
