Our filter is only sold sepratly for customers that already have our intake system. It's not designed to be run attached to the MAF like that. That is why you are having the issues with the fitment.

This is how the kit is supposed to look like installed in the car. The filter has changed, but overall it's the same length:

There actually is a thread in EVOM about the intake here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/se...une-30whp.html

He didn't mention fitment issues, he mentioned that is different from the existing ones. Mine looks like this:

This new one looks like it has less surface area???

jxs was there a reason that you ditched the injen filter in favor of the perrin?

Glad I got the old design. It may be a bit tougher to clean, but it has more surface area and doesn't look silly with two clamps.

It is true that the filter area is smaller, but it still will clean the air just as well as the older design.

the injen filter was worn out and theres a hole caused by rubbing on the acd reservoir bracket.

That is actually a very fair price. I think i paid $9 shipped for the oil and washed it with dish soap. The oil was not as easy to apply as i expected however. it sprays very concentrated.

Do you ship to Puerto Rico? I did not see Puerto Rico listed.
