Helicoiling?

So long story short, the threads on the head of the car are completely messed up and the spark plug won't thread into the head. Has anyone had to helicoil their head? If so, please shed some light on this. Is it reliable under higher boost pressure? What material did you use for the new threads? If anyone has another solution to this problem I'm all ears. Thanks.

That's the other option I guess. A new head would really break the bank but would be the most reliable option. I hate bad economies.

find out whats the thread pitch on the spark plug and get a tap and see if that will clean the threads, unless they are totally gone.

The threads are gone unfortunatly. I did try tapping the head but had no progress. It feels as though the spark plug is too small for the head but I know they are not. Thank you for the input.
