Not really! LOL I just got done changing a starter on my buddies 1992 Galant VR4. Evo starter is much easier and less likely to be coated in oil and sludge and crap! LOL

That's a dsm bov alright. The stock 8 & 9 is plastic unless it's mr, then it's one piece metal.
