Help ! Anyone using HKS FCD(fuel cut defencer ?

Hi,

Which type of FCD that fit on our EVO, some one said type K3 and some one said standard ?? Please some one have HKS FCD on EVO give me a answear ?? Thanks in advance !!

I may be wrong about this but my understanding of the FCD is as follows.

The FCD basically fools the ECU into believing that the engine is being fed less air than it actually is. As a result the engine is fed less fuel than it should have. It leans the air fuel mixture at high power levels. Lean is not good when you are asking an engine to do more than the manufacturer would.

Personally I would not use an FCD.
