screwed myself over !!!!

installing cams on the car and my friend had the tool... like usual changed his number and didnt call me back for 2 days so i made one and it broke lol. i welded a smaller bolt to the end of the threads and that peice fell off in there...it gets better. i thought it was a shaft from using a flashlight and figured i could jus magnet it out installed everything and saw it wasnt a solid shaft and it went down in the timing belt area....... spent alot of time trying to find it without tearing everything apart... ended up doing so anyway pulling the timing belt covers off and guess what.... i spent 45 mins looking for it with my fingers flashlights blowing it out with air nozzle magnets and nothing! lol i cant find it i did start the car after the cam install so i dunno what the ****. i check on top of all the **** like steering pump ac compressor everywhere inside timing belt area the belts everywhere the floor its gone!!!!! lol im putting back together f this BS

buying the tool from ams woulda been alot better....

good luck man do you think it fell in your oil pan? i dont remember if there is an opening to the oil pan from that area ( which i doubt due the the timing belt being well a belt instead of a chain lol)

So you started the car with this possibly still in the timing belt area? I would take off all pullies, belts, covers, etc... and find that before I drove the car.. Good luck..

the part that broke, it threads into one of the brackets and pushes against the timing belt tensioner. if it breaks, you'll have to pull the bracket that the power steering pump is on to be able to see where it is stuck in.
