im getting a good deal on a hks bov and would like to know if i could run the bov with a recirculation kit without a tune and not run rich???

if you want the looks and sounds, YES but if you want boost, keep the stock bov. shoot me a pm if you want to sell your stock bov

Without a tune or if you're just using your stock turbo, the HKS bov is probably useless except for show or sound but you can achieve the sound with a cone intake. Note: I said probably. Most people would recommend the stock BOV especially if you have the metal bov as compare to the stock 8 bov which is plastic.

 

If it were me, I'd Keep the oem metal bov and get a cone filter or intake.
Then you can hear the sound, if thats what your wanting.
then get tuned -soon , but not as fast as with the hks..

You can get the HKS and recirculate it if you want, but you will need a tune fast. They dont work well - "imho" - recirculated and run like crap when you VTA..
