Clutch pedal too high

When i first pulled the motor and tranny out i dropped the friction disk and cracked it. It's the exedy "stock" replacement with the full face organic disk. I ordered a sprung puck disk from AMS to replace the organic one and put everything back together. It went together fine.

When i re-installed the clutch slave (I never disconnected the lines) i just pushed the piston down and re-installed it.

When i frist drove the car the clutch engagement was VERY VERY high. Maybe 2 inches from the top. Too high for my taste. Before the disk swap it was perfect like stock.

I tried adjusting the clutch but all it did was move the pedal down. The engagement point is still RIGHT at the top of the travel.

I know i installed the clutch components themselves right but i'm not sure if i should have opened the bleeder on the slave cylinder when i reinstalled it insted of just compressing it.

I also thought i might have the wrong disk but it came from AMS and says exedy... So does the pressure plate and they said it was the same pressure plate for both clutches.

It kinds sounds like clutch pedal pump up but they say it's a 2g thing only... When i reinstall i'll follow those instructions but i'm pretty sure that's what i did before. It seems so obvious.
