Forge VTA BOV and Boost

My car was stalling with the Forge VTA BOV so took it off and cleaned it and put it back in...
I made sure everything was very tight
Now is seems as if my boost is kicking later at like 3500 RPMS but it feels alot stonger than before...

Can anyone help me with this or is there even a problem...

I have the same problem but have learned to deal with it. Just hit the gas a few short times. The real way to fix this is to go Recirc instead of VTA.

Forge recirc with the yellow spring is the way to go, at least for me. VTA can work if you do some engine management mods to account for the sudden loss of air that has already been accounted for by the ecu, or if you just want to run the car at the drag strip.

If it's sound your after, get a cone filter and either the stock valve or a forge recirc valve. But then again there is still bedate on the cone filter front, in some cases that too makes the ecu unhappy in regards to proper accounting for intake air flow.

I say helll with the cool sound, function is far more important in the long run. I heard a bunch of turbo hondas and modded wrx's blowing off at nopi this weekend and I also pulled right past them......

yeah, did some research on vta bov's. in order to stop the stalling, you have to recirculate back to the intake. vta runs rich and bad for fuel costs. the loss of air to fuel is still accounted for in the mas air sensor. less air going in, but same amount (or more) of fuel being used. i also need to get a recic kit, for my car. running hks. sounds nice but isn't doin the deed. How do you guys like that Forge? (thinking of buying it to replace my hks).

I love mine, spools up quicker after a shift and seems generally more consistant than the stock unit esp when at a cruise or at part throttle. Sometimes my stocker just didnt seem to want to close all the way so spool up was slow in some cases. I had to switch to the yellow spring but it's been great since.... but don't trust my opinion, manily because I sell Forge valves.
