Thoughts on setup?

2006 Evo 9, Im wanting a more responsive powerband, something better for street.

STOCK MOTOR/STOCK CLUTCH
93 Octane (all pump gas)

Current Setup:
Full Race Single Scroll (44mm Wastegate) Manifold
Garrett GT3076r (.63 a/r housing)
Full Race 3" downpipe

ETS 4" Intercooler
ETS Short Piping (GM MAF sensor, Blow through)
ETS 4" Intake pipe with LARGE K&N
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Tial 50mm BOV

Current power is around 400whp ish at 23-24psi.

Thinking about changing to:
CRBD BBK Turbo (Internal Wastegate)
DC Sports 3" downpipe (no cat)
Full Race stock replacement manifold

3" Intake pipe

Other thoughts:
Keeping gt30r, adding Cams, and intake manifold.

I would go with your other thoughts. =) Even though you could sell your old setup to fund the new setup, I think you would enjoy the cams and manifold a little more =)

the bbk is a ridiculous turbo. With cbrd's bbk, cams (s2's), e85 your making some badass power (most likely over 400whp). The bbk spools faster as well. Right there is a monster of a street car and for the track.

bbk's powerband is unbelievable!! Not so much peak hp but delievery. dyno graph don't show the true bbk.

Think it would be cheaper to just sell the Full Race manifold and .63 housing and go with a Full Race twin scroll header with twin scroll turbine for the 30r or just sell the 30r period and go with the t4 1.06ar hotside. Running E85 your lucky you'll gain in spool going twin scroll and running E85.

I dont see the downside in going 35R it may sound like your not going to be gaining in the powerband but a lot of people say other wise. Or just stick with the twin scroll 30R.

I think im going to order some nice cams, and get one of those ams manifolds paried with a skunk2 throttle body..

Should make some nice power gains.
