Looks fairly nice with well-designed cast end-tanks. You'll need to custom fab some mounting brackets and get some 2.5" to 3" transition couplers though. It is definitely a lot larger than stock! It should fit behind the stock bumper and crash bar with no problems. I'm assuming you could get it for around $300 from a Mishimoto dealer (MAP).

*edit*
Only $210!

don't do it. I bought one without the mounting brackets and it was a pain in the ***. You have to pay someone to tig weld a bracket and then have someone fabricate custom pipes most likely. When it's all said and done, you could have gotten an intercooler that was made for the evo with a better core. I bought mine for 240 shipped and then paid 20 for transition hoses and then 50 for the bracket and pipes is going to cost me around 300.

??? These things are made in the same place as the eBay ones- China. They're just generic pieces. They all work.

even if that is true (i dont know one way or the other) id rather buy from them than off of ebay. i have seen mishimoto products in person on several different cars and would sooner run their products vs anything off of ebay. they are an evom vendor and the potential for custom service im sure woudl far surpass anything on ebay.
meh, but what do i know, i have a buschur intercooler.

While budget shopping, keep in mine ETS intercoolers start at $484 ( http://www.maperformance.com/ets-int...and-evo-9.html ) and Perrin generally has some great deals on their FMIC's ( http://perrinperformance.com/product...LE?category=38 ). I think that Perrin "Garage Sale" FMIC would only be $474 after their current 12% off coupon code.

As long as it flows, cools and doesn't drop CFM, then it's good, regardless of brand. I've been from brand name to no-name. Not knocking you, just pointing out that one shouldn't write off an eBay FMIC if it works for a fraction of the cost. from the standpoint of just a FMIC and no associated piping, that may be good for some people like me, since I fab up my own piping. BTW, Mishimoto got their start on eBay, and I do use their radiators and other products. Got no problem with them.

Any IC that is bigger WILL drop psi the better intercoolers even specify the drop. I lost .5 psi and spool around 200 later with a larger semi-name brand cooler. The power is the same at the lower rpms and more up top due to lower temps.

Think about it bigger intercooler is more volume that the turbo needs to fiil before pressurizing.
