i searched and couldnt find answer, but how much is stock block good for. on 93 pump, like whp boost on fp red i know bigger turbos , more cfm lower boost just cant find an answer
Well, i'm not 100% sure but people are running 450whp+ on E85 on the red. I'm not sure how long the motor will last but thats what i've seen soo far. Go look aound in the dyno results forum.
it will be on buschur dyno, just want curious for the future i will just do the fp red and 880's shooting for 400 "fingers crossed' im not going to push it too much just curious as to how long i'll last on a good tune with red and 880's is all i guess

whats dll?, thats damn good and 110k 450whp so i should be good for a long whil ei have 40 k on my car and the red and 880's are going on soon ordering turbo this week
Personally I wouldn't push the block more than 390 on 93 octane. But if you want to see how much you can push it, I'd say you could go as high as 500 whp but I wouldn't think the engine won't last very long.
I just don't understand why people ask this question time and time again. Some engines will blow at 400 whp, others will go at 550 whp or more. Really comes down to how you've treated the car up to this point. Your failure on a stock bottom end will be the rod bolts. Personally taking the car past 400 whp on 93 octane is really stupid. Limit yourself to 24 psi and you'll have a dependable evo.
what are you trying to accomplish here may I ask?

around 400 just with the red 880's o2 housing and a good tune, buschur will be doing all the work so i'll def have a good tune but if i dont get to 400 not going to lose sleep over it, i have taken care of the car very well rarely gun it only tuned at 22 psi now and mostly highway miles and 40k on the engine
Everything I've ever heard is that a "safe" tune on pump gas would be keeping it <450awhp. As mentioned, it really depends on like 1000 factors though. FWIW, a tune without any knock on pump in hot weather is a safe tune. Lower torque in lower RPMs is a safer tune. I've personally seen a couple of around 450awhp stock blocks, but most responsible tuners won't let you go past that - they don't really want to blow up an engine either. Race gas should let you push the envelope a bit further, probably up around 500awhp, but I wouldn't do it. Just my .02.
