fp green to paper weight ...

well .... as my luck goes , my green blew tonight... split the impeller shaft in two... nasty sh*t! i swore to myself the next time my car was off the road for a little while i'd pull the motor... due to lack of $$$ i currently have i will probably not change the stroke... im thinking some manely rods and cp pistons, bearings , oil pump , and bring the crank to the machine shop to get checked out...

since i'll be keeping it a 2.0 i was planing to spool the larger than average turbo with a wet fogger (50-75hp shot)....(keep in mind that this is a drag use car with minimal street driving) now before everyone chews me out about the no2, let me just say ...... if your going to just talk sh*t about spray cuz you've had no experience with it , or some friend of a friend put a 100shot on a button in his grandmas crown vic and blew the motor, i really dont need to hear what you have to say..thanks... but if you have some real insight about the topic i would love to know what you think...

is spooling a gt35r (or similar sized turbo) on a 2.0L with a wet fogger going to be a power making combo???

I know tons of guys who have great results with nitrous, but its all about doing it right(which most people DONT do). I dont really see the need to use nitrous for a 35R on the track, but thats me, but it wouldnt hurt to have more power overall.

If you're going with a built 2.0L that can rev to 9 grand, you'll have plenty of powerband on an HTA 35R. By 5000RPM you're rolling away. No need for nitrous IMHO

agreed with all the above. I have been wondering this myself, but some 35r kits are actually coming online hard well before 5000rpm. From a 2500rpm in 3rd gear, street run is probably the only time you will want it, but just drop it down into 2nd.

but hey, if you end up using spray with a 35r, let us know how it works out.
