MBC back to stock...help a moron out
I feel like a jackass for such a simple question, but I tried to hook the factory boost control back up on my VIII and I'm only getting wastegate pressure. I'd like to think I'm not a complete moron, but I had no success.
I removed the MBC and hooked it up just like stock. Triple checked the diagram after it didn't work and no luck. However, I used some vacuum hose without the oem restrictors in line. Is that causing an issue? I manually gave the solenoid some juice and it is working.
What am I overlooking?
Thanks in advance.

Just go down to the parts counter at your local Mitsu dealership and get the factory boost/vacuum hose assembly. It is completeley preassembled with the two restrictor pills, as well as the "T", all preinstalled respectively in their specific, correct locations, and with the hoses precut to the exact required lengths, ditto includes hose clamps too.
Don't try to do a piecemeal DIY install. Otherwise you'll continue to have the same type of problems which you are experiencing.
