Quarter Master and PTT use the same clutch cover/discs, I thought?

I just got my Quarter Master kit from maperformance. They took care of me well.

i run the QM twin disc, EXCELLENT clutch. its noisy buts expected from a drag clutch. it will take some getting used to, but youll be amazed at how fast you can shift with this thing. holds whatever you will throw at it as well.

I have owned the qm and the ptt. They are not the same. They both work good.

PTT uses quartermaster release bearing. Tilton, PTT and QM discs are interchangeable.

Thank you for the kind words sir As has been mentioned above and in many other threads the QM does take some getting used to, but its worth it IMHO. With that said, it really comes down to your driving style and ultimately your tolerance in regards to TOB noise and harsh engagement from a stop. It seems that "daily driver" can be taken in many different ways

I also got my Quarter Master from MAP. It now has close to 3000 miles on it with 43 drag strip passes. I drive the car every day, and have had zero issues with this clutch. While not for everyone, I wanted bulletproof, and this is as close to it as your going to get.

Didn't know you were using this clutch Indy. What RPM are you launching at and how fast are you dropping the hammer?

I am pretty nervous with it so far, visions of exploded tcases fill my mind when launching.

Almost 2000 miles on the Quartermaster, 22 drag passes, some highway pulls, dyno time and it still goes strong!

Very aggressive for daily driving but again as mantioned previously, this is very subjective. Different people have different opinions...

Also i think its the best clutch for the money to none!
